Backstreet Boys’ very own AJ McLean was the first celeb to announce a divorce in 2024 (on January 1, no less).

It is with deep love and respect that we have made this decision. Our focus now is moving forward in the healthiest way possible with friendship and co-parenting our girls at the forefront of this next chapter. January: Bryan Abasolo and Rachel Lindsay

Bachelor Nation kicked off 2024 with some sad news: Bryan and Rachel’s divorce after four years of marriage. Apparently, Bryan was the one who filed on January 2 and listed a separation date of just a few days earlier on December 31, 2023.

He also wrote a statement about the split, saying in part, “After more than four years of marriage, me and Rachel have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew. My parents have been married forever and I’m a family man, but sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go.”

Romeo confirmed the split on Instagram Stories, saying, “Mooch and I have parted ways after five years of love. We still have a lot of love and respect for each other and still hold a strong friendship and always will.”
