If you're after a feel-good dating show on Netflix, then Down For Love is one to watch. The new series sees singletons with Down syndrome start their search for love, with fans now wondering if Leisel and Brayden from season one are still together.
One couple that viewers were rooting for are Leisel Shepherd and Brayden Pettigrew, who met after being set up on a blind date. With season two of the dating series on its way, we have one question, are Down For Love's Leisel and Brayden a couple? Here's what we know.
Are Down For Love's Brayden and Leisel still together?
We met 23-year-old entrepreneur Leisel during episode five of Down For Love, as she gets ready to go on her first blind date with Brayden.
They seemed to hit it off straight away during their mini golf date, and sparks continued to fly on their second date at a pottery class. On their third date at the jacuzzi in Leisel's garden, Brayden asked her to be his girlfriend!
The end of the episode saw the couple go on their first night away together to celebrate Brayden's birthday, with him telling Leisel that he hopes to marry her one day. So, are the couple still together?
Good news, yes! In an interview with Woman's Day for their one-year anniversary, Leisel said: "He is my true love and my handsome Prince Charming."
"My family loves Leisel," Brayden told the publication. "She is a really thoughtful person. My mum adores her and my sister Willow, it's like they are sisters. They have a lot in common."
"We want to live overseas in America, in a big mansion with a fireplace in the bedroom and an indoor pool," Leisel added, with Brayden sharing that the couple want to have a family of their own.
"We want to adopt," he said. "We'll have three kids, two boys and a girl."
So sweet!
Down For Love is streaming on Netflix now.
