After much anticipation Jamie Dornan and Danielle Macdonald are back for series two of BBC's The Tourist. Following on from season one, which saw Jamie star as an unknown man who wakes up in a hospital with amnesia and must discover the truth about his criminal past, Jamie and Danielle are returning as Elliot and Helen, who are now a couple travelling around the world together.
In the new season, the pair travel to Ireland, after Elliot receives a letter seemingly connected to his past. So what will the pair discover in Ireland? Two years to the day since series one's release, The Tourist season two premiered on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on 1st January 2024 at 9pm.
When does the next episode of The Tourist season 2 come out?
Following the same pattern of release as series one, there are six episodes in The Tourist season two. The first episode premiered on 1st January, with the second episode following the next day on 2nd January.
The next four episodes will be released on consecutive Sunday evenings at 9pm, starting from 7th January.
