And so, with the product in my ownership, I, obvs, had to put it to the hype test. Spoiler: No, I didn’t dunk my head in a pool of water but my set makeup did endure two long commutes on the TFL Central Line and over nine hours of wear. So, pretty on par, TBH.
Being the sweaty, oily-skinned person that I am, I’m usually pessimistic about setting sprays in general. Nothing but a cake load of powder, hourly blotting and constant touch-ups can keep my makeup intact. However, to my surprise, when plodding to the toilets to carry out said touch-ups, I found that I didn’t need to! Humble brag – my makeup has never looked better when set with this spray.
Truly, this little can has changed my makeup game with its non-sticky formula, an easy all-day matte finish and next-level hold. Though, note, the formula, aerosol spray and its smell are reminiscent of hairspray. But hey, that doesn’t bother me when my beat is, well, beatin’!"
