Although we didn’t hear straight from the singer herself whether or not she would attend this year’s awards ceremony in Los Angeles, host Trevor Noah gave a direct shout-out to the celeb during his opening monologue and dished that both she and Jay-Z would be in attendance during music’s biggest night.

And as expected, this was the general vibe...

...in addition to the general vibe once cameras panned to her during Fantasia’s Tina Turner tribute:

A casual refresher that last year, Bey fully smashed the record for most Grammys ever won by a single person. Let’s take things back to that moment, shall we?

After accepting the award for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album for her *chef’s kiss* masterpiece Renaissance, Beyoncé shot up to the top of the list at 32 wins and delivered an emotional speech where she gave a special shout-out to her family, children, and the queer community.

“Thank you so much. I’m trying not to be too emotional. I’m trying to just receive this night. I want to thank God for protecting me. Thank you, God,” she began her acceptance speech.

“I’d like to thank my Uncle Johnny, who's not here. But he’s here in spirit. I’d like to thank my parents—my father, my mother, for loving me, and pushing me. I’d like to thank my beautiful husband, my beautiful three children who are at home watching,” Beyoncé continued before speaking to the queer community, to whom she credited for her album’s genre. “I’d like to thank the queer community for your love and for inventing this genre. God bless you. Thank you so much to the Grammys. Thank you.”

Now that we’re fully in tears, we’ll leave you with this hilarious reaction from host Trevor Noah, who honestly said what we were all thinking at the time: “Beyoncé has done it, everybody! She now holds the all-time record for the most Grammy wins, so we can finally end the GOAT debate. It’s done now. Who’s the GOAT? It’s Beyoncé. It’s done. It’s not LeBron, it’s not Jordan, it’s not Tom Brady, it’s not Messi. It’s done. It’s officially done.”

Truer words!
