As we get ready to celebrate another month of all things Pride this June, Cara Delevingne is kicking things off early with a campaign for Calvin Klein in which she poses topless, and honestly, our jaws hit the floor.
The model and actor, 31, fronts the fashion brand's new 'This Is Love' campaign in a series of images released yesterday (29th May). In one of the images Cara can be seen posing topless and holding up her arm in a bicep curl pose, while covering her boobs with the other arm. In the image she's wearing a pair of jeans and the label's iconic underwear.
The Instagram collab post of Cara topless between Cara and Calvin Klein was captioned: "Live your truth. This is Love @caradelevingne in the new Pride campaign. Photographed by @gvsgvs. Calvin Klein is proud to continue our partnerships with @ilgaworld and @translawcenter in their efforts toward LGBTQIA+ equity and safety."
And in a video posted by Calvin Klein of the campaign, which also stars Jeremy Pope, Cara can be seen dancing topless, looking joyful.
The Instagram post quickly received a lot of love, and racked up nearly 300,000 likes and thousands of comments, including from Cara's friend and fellow model Gigi Hadid. Gigi commented on the post: "Gorgeousness". And the comment section was also full of fans praising the image, with one saying: "Wow!!! What a powerful and beautiful image!!!" while another said: "Iconic ❤️". Yep, we definitely have to agree.
In an exclusive interview with People, Cara shared her thoughts about being part of the campaign, saying how inspired she is by her fellow members in the queer community.
She said: "Love, to me, encapsulates everything about life: the good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful, the magnificent. Just the highs and the lows, I guess. It teaches you about yourself. And I think, what I didn’t have, at least, is younger people today are so much more who they are and they’re not going to change for anyone whereas I felt like I was always so scared or like I didn’t want to be who I really was.
"There is so much more freedom to be who you want to be, of course there are still struggles and there is still so much to fight against but I get so inspired by people in the queer community."
File this under things we love to see.
