One of the Love Is Blind love triangles just became a square, after Jeramey Lutinski responded to the suggestion that he had a secret fiancée while applying to be on the show.
If you've been watching season six of Love Is Blind, you'll know Jeramey made a connection with both Laura Dadisman and Sarah Ann, eventually proposing to Laura in the pods. After the pair returned from honeymoon, Jeramey met up with Sarah Ann, staying out until 5am behind Laura's back.
While fans will have to wait for the next batch of episodes to find out what really happened between them, there's a new twist in the tale: a woman named Brittani Mcliverty has revealed she and Jeramey were living together and engaged to be married right before the show.
Commenting on Laura's Instagram post, Brittani said, "Did he ever tell you about his ex-fiancé[e] from right before you? Surely not... Or the house WE sold a week or two before he filmed for this show?"
She added, "[I] just want all the info out there. You and Sarah Ann should know. I’m happy to share proof."
Now, Jeramey has taken to his own Instagram grid to respond to the allegations, insisting it wasn't a secret that he was engaged before. In a video filmed to camera, he said, "The story that's going around about my previous engagement prior to Love Is Blind. One, anybody who I was on dates with, my cast mates, and in multiple interviews. This topic was discussed, nobody is surprised by this. It was something that was well documented. Unfortunately not all of the footage captured makes it into the final cut.
"Two, I did not apply for this while I was living with anybody else. I was out living on my own. I was actually reached out to [by the casting team] over Instagram and I'll actually add that message into the next slide for some verification on that. I had been on my own for a number of weeks at that point."
Sounds like it's just a misunderstanding.
Love Is Blind continues on Netflix.
