Good news! The Soft Pinch Liquid Blush and Silky Touch Highlighter (dw, we'll get to those in a bit) had a baby. Welcome to the world, Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush.

The idea of using something so shimmery as a blush made me shiver (hello, pores and uneven skin texture), so I went in with a light hand when first applying. I'd seen many videos online of people piling this stuff on, but they're not as scary as I thought. I used a light dusting and was pleased with the subtle colour these added to my cheeks, while the shimmer appeared to be more of a metallic sheen. My skin looked healthy and glowing, rather than caked in glitter – exactly what I was after. You can of course build the colour to add more pigment, but it's just not my vibe (sorry).

I would still stand by avoiding these if you're suffering from uneven skin texture as the shimmer certainly didn't help me in that department. Longevity-wise, the liquid blush wins for staying power, but these are ideal for those wanting a blush-highlighter hybrid.
