Wells joined Bachelor in Paradise as the show's bartender in season 4 and then had a super-sized role in season 7 thanks to being ~master of rose ceremonies~ as well as guest host of a few episodes. And he's honestly had a ton of screen time in season 8 so far.

His exact salary for all this hard work hasn't been officially revealed, but we do have some info at our disposal:
- First off all, we know that Bachelor and Bachelorette leads make somewhere north of $100,000 per season, so ABC is willing to spend money. But considering leads aren't that famous before starting a season and Wells is very famous, it seems safe to assume his salary is well over this.
- We also know former Bachelor in Paradise host Chris Harrison allegedly made $2.6 million per show. Of course, he was a full-time host (and had years of negotiations under his belt) whereas Wells is a bartender. Plus, now that Jesse Palmer is in the picture, going to assume most of ABC's money is going to him.
Our best guess for how much Wells makes? $500,000 to $1 million per season. I mean, ABC spent $2.6 million on Chris Harrison, and since chances are Jesse Palmer isn't making this much (he's too new!), this leaves plenty of extra reserve for Wells and his growing role.
