Where is the TikTok song 'Where's my dad, I'm all alone' from?

If there's one thing taking over our TikTok FYPs right now, it's the sound of what appears to be a very distressed boy looking for his dad, as he's all alone. Yep, you know the one, where the kid is singing: "Where's my dad? I'm all alone."

It's a little bit sad, yet equally kind of hilarious, and works for so many scenarios when you feel like you just need your dad or a parental figure around.

Like when it's time to have anything to do with sorting out your taxes, or navigating an airport, or when your manager is on annual leave and you're in charge of running things. Of course you can do all those things yourself, but you just like having a responsible adult around, which the sound perfectly sums up the feeling of.

But enough of our inability to do a tax return, where is the song that has now has been used in over 10,000 TikToks originally from? Here's everything you need to know.

Where is the TikTok song 'Where's My Dad? I'm All Alone' from?

The now iconic TikTok sound of 'where's my dad? I'm all alone' was originally uploaded by The Brick’s Children Community Theatre, or @bcctplay as their official TikTok handle states, a children's theatre group in New Jersey.

The original TikTok is of one of the young performers taking on the role of Nemo for the group's new musical 'Finding Nemo Junior'.

The musical is based on the original Pixar movie, Finding Nemo, about a young clownfish who goes missing in the ocean and his dad Marlin and newfound friend Dory go on a dangerous mission to rescue him. In the TikTok the child actor has a puppet of Nemo and sings a song about Nemo running away from his dad Marlin and then regretting it.

The song goes as follows: "Where’s my dad? I’m all alone / I’m too small to be here on my own / I swam away because I got mad / But now I really need him / Where’s my dad?"

The child actor sings the song incredibly well and the clip has now gone viral, having been viewed 12.1 million times and receiving over 1.5 million likes.

This is probably the most wholesome thing we've seen all week, and the subsequent clips of the show look like it's going to be a great moment for all involved.

Now if only we could find our dads to tell them about it.
