Soooooooo...People went ahead and dropped the news on December 17 that Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner split after less than a year of dating. And if you're still wondering BUT WHY THOUGH, dw. Sources were feeling chatty at the time of the breakup. Short story? Things fizzled.
"Kendall and Bad Bunny have been doing their own things lately and things slowly started to fizzle out between them," said an Entertainment Tonight at the time. "They both knew going into this that it likely wouldn't be a forever type of relationship and that was mutually understood from the get-go. They have crazy busy schedules and know they're still young and have a lot more to experience individually before settling down."

Thanks to all of the above, it sounded like the breakup was pretty much drama-free. Plus, ET's source even added that there "isn’t any negativity between them and they still want the best for one another. Kendall’s family still thinks highly of him. They just want her to be with whoever makes her happy, treats her with love and respect, and someone that understands and can handle the attention that comes along with dating her with poise and grace."
And speaking of the attention surrounding the celebs, Kendall and Bad Bunny kept their relationship pretty low-key for the most part (with the exception of, ya know, starring in a Gucci campaign together), and both spoke out about the need for privacy while they were dating.

"People know everything about me, so what’s left for me to protect?" Bad Bunny told Rolling Stone for his June 2023 cover story. "My private life, my personal life. That’s the only answer. In the end, the only thing I have is my privacy."
Meanwhile, Kendall told WSJ Magazine that same month, "I’ll go out of my way to do things as privately as possible because I just think that that’s the healthier way of dealing with relationships anyway."
P.S. Apart from a brief (maybe??) rekindling for a New Year's trip with friends, the two seem to have pretty much steered clear of each other.
