Buckle up, Bachelor Nation, because we're about to speed-drive through season 27 of The Bachelor in terms of Zach and Kaity's love story. Although the season aired in January 2023, filming took place in fall 2o22. Translation: that's when the pair actually met.
Upon their first meeting, Kaity told Zach, "You are so handsome! A fun fact you should know about me is that I'm also from Austin, Texas, and judging from what I can see right now — everything is bigger in Texas." Okayyy, Kaity! We see you. 👀
Fast forward, and Kaity seemingly wins Zach's heart as she landed a one-on-one date with Zach at the museum during week 3. They went on another one-on-one date, which eventually turned into meeting Kaity's family, and then... dramageddon with Gabi hit. Luckily, the couple "came out stronger" from the incident, according to Kaity.

"Going in [to] fantasy suite week, I just wanted to use that time — that intimate time — to just get to know each other more on a more emotional level and just see what we're like off the cameras too. I was just looking forward to that," Kaity told Us Weekly at the time. "And, obviously, I was really excited for our day date and the kayak and whatnot, and, obviously, that turned a little sour pretty quick. But, in Bachelor world, things don't always go as planned, so I don’t think I really went in with a whole lot of expectations. I was just hoping it would go smoothly and we hit a hurdle for sure. But in the end, we came out stronger."

Zach proposes to Kaity on the season 27 finale of The Bachelor. Excuse me while I weep at this sweet moment.
The couple also posted stunning photos complete with heartfelt messages on Instagram.
"The love of my life. This woman right here deserves the world and I’m beyond thankful to have her in my life. I fall in love with you more and more each and every day. I love you best friend 💜🐬," Zach wrote.
Kaity wrote a lengthier caption, saying, "Holy cannoli! Not in a million years would I ever think this was how I was going to find my person. I am so blessed I get to call you my fiancé and best friend."
She continued, " You are such an incredible man who is so compassionate, intelligent, and selfless and that’s barely scratching the surface of the kind of man you are. You have redefined what love is to me (as corny as that sounds) and I feel so fortunate I have you as a partner through this crazy life. Thank you for being everything that you are and handling my heart with such care. I love you so very much 🫶🏽"
